Redring Solder was established in March 1980, and the following year the Malaysia Govemment through Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) granted Redring Solder the manufacturing license for the production of bar solder and plain / flux cored solid wire solder under pioneer status condition to promote resource based industry. In 1990 and 1998 MITI again ganted 2 licences for the production solder paste and powder respectively.
